John and I like to go to a local Renaissance Faire.
Summer of 2001 he competed in a demonstration of the Highland Games... and won!
A year later he tried again and lost to some of the best in the country, but got a lot of
pointers, hints, and made fast friends with some of the competitors.

This is John's mom and dad on our wedding day. Both of my parents have passed away... his parents have really stepped in and filled in that supportive roll. I couldn't ask for better.
